Relay Risk

Relay Risk: Examining the Communication of Environmental Risk through a Case Study of Domestic Wastewater Treatment Systems in the Republic of Ireland is an EPA-funded project currently being carried out by the School of Geography, Planning and Environmental Policy, University College Dublin.

Taking domestic wastewater treatment systems as a case study, Relay Risk seeks to identify the essential ingredients required for risk communication in order to bring about effective public engagement, compliance with environmental regulation, and long-term sustainable environmental behavioural change.

The project commenced in mid-2014 and is expected to be completed in mid summer 2015.
